Project Overview:
The Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire (BCI) commissioned 8P Design to create the "Recognition of Prior Learning and Competencies Portal" for universities. This site aims to promote and enhance recognition of prior learning and competencies (RAC) services within Quebec’s universities. By providing an intuitive and informative platform, the portal simplifies the academic journey for RAC candidates by showcasing their prior learning, optimizing study durations, and facilitating the achievement of university diplomas or credentials.
Project Description:
In response to this mandate from Quebec’s Ministry of Higher Education, the new portal’s primary goal is to promote RAC services within universities and to the general public.
Built on the WordPress platform, the site offers an intuitive interface that enables candidates to highlight their prior learning, making their academic journey smoother. Additionally, it provides universities with resources to continually develop and improve their RAC services, fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices within Quebec’s university network.
Through this project, 8P Design has contributed to greater accessibility and efficiency of RAC services, supporting BCI’s mission to foster cooperation and development among its member institutions.
